Army Lists

Warlord I and Warlord II each contain over 90 example army lists. These lists provide balanced and historically representative armies for quick games taking about 1½ hours. The integral army lists in the two rulebooks are subdivided into fourteen time periods. Naturally in compiling army lists of this kind, compromises have had to be made and the results are approximations and generalisations which give an authentic flavour of the armies depicted rather than precise representations of actual historical forces. It is most satisfactory to field opposing armies from the same time period, preferable from the same geographical region and ideally which actually fought each other, though this is not compulsory. These are expanded in detail by Supplementary Companion Army List Books
